Jordan Tenenbaum, President
Jordan Tenenbaum MHA serves as President of Allevant Solutions, working closely with Mayo Clinic's Dr. Mark Lindsay and the Allevant team. Focused on teamwork, communication, and collaboration, Allevant's goal is to help providers focus on measured outcomes and evidence-based processes to ensure patients get the best care possible while positively impacting the organization and the community.
Jordan previously served as Allevant's EVP overseeing business development and as CEO for Select Specialty Hospital - St. Louis, part of Select Medical's critical illness recovery hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals, including Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in New Jersey, consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top two medical rehabilitation hospitals.
As an executive with extensive health care experience in the for-profit, non-profit and academic-based sectors, Jordan received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, a master's in Hospital Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Fellowship in Hospital Administration from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Jordan was selected by the National Rural Health Association to participate in the 2020 Rural Health Fellows Program aimed at developing leaders who can articulate a clear and compelling vision for rural America.
Dr. Mark Lindsay, Medical Director Allevant; Assistant Professor, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine
Mark Lindsay M.D. MMM is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He serves as Medical Director for Allevant. He received his medical degree from the University Of Southern California School Of Medicine, where he also completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and remained on Faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He has practiced at Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire since 1997 where he has served in a number of leadership positions including Department Chair Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Luther Midelfort Board of Directors, Physician Chair ICU Redesign, Medical Director Valley Health Plan, Medical Director of Ventilator Program in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin from 1997-2012 and Chair of Eau Claire's Continuum of Care Program and Utilization Management from 2000-2006. He was the Quality Officer for Mayo Clinic Health System from 2006-2010.
He received his master's in Medical Management in 2004 from the USC School of Business. His master's project was expanding new post-acute care pathways including transitional care and ventilator units in underutilized rural hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Lindsay initiated and provided leadership for Mayo Post-Acute Care Program from inception to 2012, which included the development of ventilator programs in Minnesota and Wisconsin and 11 Transitional Care programs in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. He has presented at several IHI and National forums.
Karl Palmer, RN, Vice President, Clinical Services & Operations
Karl Palmer, MS, RN, collaborates with the Allevant team and clients to coordinate implementations, create content, and adapt programming to meet client needs and changing healthcare circumstances. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winona State University in Winona, MN and his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing and Healthcare Systems Administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. Karl practiced as an ICU nurse at St. Mary's Hospital-Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and at Luther Hospital, part of Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI.
Karl was also Associate Director of Nursing-Clinic and Quality Nurse Specialist at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar, a past Top 20 CAH and AMA Acclaim Award Winning hospital and clinic in Menomonie, WI where he was involved in ambulatory care, emergency preparedness, quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory initiatives, and a range of community wellness efforts. He served as Co-Nurse Vice-Chair of Quality for Mayo Clinic Health System during Dr. Lindsay’s tenure as Mayo Clinic Health System Quality Officer. In this role, he was involved in several system-level nursing councils, represented the nursing quality perspective in early electronic health record adoption, supported quality improvement projects at rural facilities across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, and participated in Mayo Clinic-wide quality improvement teams.
Rorey Pritchard, RN, Senior RN Clinical Educator & Wellness Coordinator
Rorey Pritchard, PhD, EdS, MSN, RN-BC, NPD-BC, CNOR(E), CNE serves as the Senior RN Clinical Educator & Wellness Coordinator for Allevant, supporting the education needs of Allevant clients, including the development and delivery of educational content. Rorey received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellin College in Green Bay, WI, and specialized in surgical nursing, eventually serving as the Perioperative Educator.
Rorey completed both her PhD and Education Specialist graduate education degrees as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and a post-graduate certificate in Health Professional Education. Rorey has focused her career on both hospital-based and academic education, most recently as a Professor of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Rorey currently holds four nursing specialty certifications in perioperative nursing, nursing informatics, nursing professional development, and nursing education.
